HANDBAGS
We have a range of beautiful, high quality, eco friendly guaranteed, natural veg tanned leather. There are different styles and leather to choose from.: Zebra, nguni, wildebeest, kudu, natural springbok, dyed springbok, bovine, cow, ostrich skin (with knobs), ostrich shin (with pattern). We also have the bigger bags: weekenders and travel bags. These are big enough to pack a few things in for a weekend or a week. Remember that leather is a product that reaches its full beauty with age. It gets more “character”. We are up to date with all the latest trends and styles, so you can be sure to be highly in fashion with our products. Most of our hand bags are also equipped with studs at the bottom, a cell phone and make- up pouch as well as a zipped pouch for your money. Inside and out, we are proud of our handbag range!
PILLOW CASES
We have sold to many a home abroad! Our pillow cases are of the highest quality with tanned kudu leather at the back. Our zebra and springbok pillow cases are very popular. We also have zebra pillow cases with the mane on the front, very nice. The springbok pillow cases also come in different colours – red, orange, lime green, brown, blue and purple. You
also get different game skin pillow cases – Blesbok, Blesbok patched, Impala, Red Hartebeest and the very popular, Nguni cow pillow cases!
The sizes are 45x45, 45x30 and 50x 30 cm. The placing of pillow cases in your home, can, like any skin, add a lot of character to your room!
FURNITURE
Our factory is well known in South Africa and we export a lot of furniture abroad. Leather furniture is very classy and adds a lot of style to your home. Our Nguni couches, chairs and ottomans are absolutely gorgeous! Very in fashion now. We also have head boards for beds, very popular in Nguni. We have beautiful salad/fruit bowls, in indigenous wood. The ottomans can be ordered with a lid, perfect for storage. Here again an ottoman can be ordered in different skin types. Very popular is the Zebra, Nguni, Blue Wildebeest and plain leather in different colours. These are popular because you can match them with any furniture you have.
GIFTS
We are known to be the shop with very “ different “ gifts. Our carvings are made by the best carvers in the world and you get them in wood or stone. We are suppliers of the very unique Mopani root carvings, aged between 700 and over 1000 years. You get elephants, rhino, warthog and guinea fowl. There are many people collecting them, and they come in different sizes. Our coasters are also popular. You get zebra and Nguni skin (with a protection layer) Cape Wine Tours, the Big Five, African animals and many more. Placemats are also popular and we have many different types. Some made of material, some of special coaster wood and more. We also have many interesting African artifacts. Good sellers are also the lovely Franschhoek Valley Book, with beautiful pictures of all the wine farms and shops. Table cloths and table runners with nice patterns and also lovely animal (big) book ends. We also stock the real African chunky, beaded and other jewellery. Products made of buffalo bone: jewellery, salt and pepper pots, rings, bottle openers. There are too many things too mention! Be assured, it will be something unique.
AFRICAN ANTIQUES
We have very interesting pieces, dating 50 years and older. Some of the masks have original hair on them. We have the African combs with beautiful carved patterns on the end. Also, the head rest (they used to sleep their heads on a small wooden head rest) how they slept I don’t know! According to the small chairs we have, some of the tribes must have been smaller people than average! We also have the large stumpers
(Chika) that the woman used to grind corn into “mealiemeal,” which was and is there staple food.
Other nice antique pieces are the meat bowls. They are made of wood, some are flat, others are round with a lid. We have different antique goods from time to time.
OSTRICH PRODUCTS
We keep up with the latest styles and have exclusive goods of the highest quality at affordable prices! We get our goods from well known ostrich farms situated in a town called Oudtshoorn in the klein karoo. We have handbags and purses in different sizes and styles. Other products include chemically cleaned ostrich eggs, (carved, plain and decopache). Exclusive retractable ostrich feather dusters, small enough to fit into your handbag. They are covered with ostrich skin, shin and plain plastic. They are very handy for cleaning your computer, car or cleaning anything in general. The perfect gift! We have different sizes ( S-L) house feather dusters, made of A-grade ostrich feathers, they pick up dust like no other product on the market. Our ostrich feathers are colourful and makes quite a statement in a bowl in a home. There are a variety of gents and ladies purses, credit card, lipstick and cell phone holders. We also have a lot of other ostrich related products. We are suppliers of ostrich skin. Ostrich products are just so stylish and you will only have to replace it in many years, unlike other leather products.
CLOTHING
More African you cannot get! African and non African interesting styled clothing of high quality material. Very popular amongst young and old. Our madiba shirts for men and boys are great and we also have very nice slacks to go with it. The ladies can choose from a variety of styles for young and old.
